Check in With Yourself

MENTAL HEALTH IS PART OF OUR OVERALL HEALTH - IT REQUIRES ATTENTION, MAINTENANCE AND CARE TO STAY FIT AND ACTIVE

Based on feedback collected from our Stress Test, five key stressors have been identified as having a significant influence on men’s mental and emotional wellbeing.

These are:

  • Loneliness
  • Relationship Challenges
  • Lack of Purpose of Meaning in Life
  • Financial Strain
  • Difficulties at Work

For each of these elements, we’ve sourced and adapted clinically-tested assessments into simple online quizzes that can be completed in just a few minutes.

We have also added a version of the Male Depression Risk Scale, which is designed to assess the risk of depression in men, and screens for common symptoms that are often missed in other depression assessment tools.

While these quizzes shouldn’t be used on their own as diagnostic tools, they’re a good way to identify and track particular areas of concern in your life.

At the end of each assessment, we’ll offer some advice based on your responses and point you in the direction of resources to help you address any issues that are causing distress or impacting your wellbeing.

We do not collect any personal information, and none of your responses are recorded by default. If you decide to opt-in to help our research, your results will be recorded to improve these tools and improve our understanding of men’s mental health. This enables us, and others who use our research, to develop better screening tools and resources to help people who are struggling with their mental health all around the world.
