I’m a Saskatchewan-based therapist specializing in working with survivors of sexualized violence. I also work with people to support their mental health, reduce stress, and maintain healthy relationships. I understand the complexities of trauma and how it impacts the mind and the body. As a social worker and yoga teacher, I offed a mix of breath and body work to compliment talk therapy.

My approach is solution focused and client centred. It’s important to listen to the client’s story and work on solutions together. I have used the ACT model (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy) which uses CBT and mindfulness to help build healing skills and work on past traumas. It’s important to note that everyone is different, there is hope, and that it takes such courage to be here asking for help.

It may take reaching out to 3+ therapists to find one who is currently accepting new clients. So don’t get discouraged if you don’t hear back right away. Keep reaching out to therapists until you get a response. Your better health is worth the effort.
